About Burrells of Doncaster

Burrells Mitsubishi is part of A Burrell & Sons Ltd, a third generation family-owned and run company, which was established over 100 years ago. The company was formed in 1902 by Mr Albert Burrell, the grandfather of the present working directors, when at the age of 20 he started up his own business in Haxey, North Lincolnshire, as the village blacksmith. In due course, with the mechanisation of agriculture, the business became a main retailer of agricultural machinery, in addition to constructing agricultural buildings

With the new Millenium a new era also began for the company with a move away from it's Haxey base to premises in Doncaster, from where it now retails Mitsubishi and Saab cars. The construction side of the company, which is now responsible for large-scale industrial and commercial buildings, in addition to agricultural buildings, moved to Epworth in North Lincolnshire.

The company has grown in both size and experience from it's modest beginnings, now employing over 40 people, and it is proud to be able to offer it's customers, expertise and understanding, acquired during a century of trading, combined with the stablity, experience and integrity of a long-established family company.
